A generalized term which can refer to one of the following meanings or contexts:

  • An act of bringing something into being, specifically in this case referring to the process of Creation.
  • The product or result of such an act, specifically in this case referring to the result, a Creation.
  • The extent of all existence, with the exception of God.

The final definition is the most common use of the term in this reference. God is the only known entity to have always existed. The rest of reality has been brought into being through various means by God, thus making all of it God's creation.

Creation is specific in use to the bringing forth of something into being, specifically from nothingness. In its strictest sense God is the only true Creator.
